Wet soils following extensive rainfall

This map showing wet soils in the south of the Netherlands is thanks to processing data from different satellites. Since a single satellite cannot provide high-accuracy datasets, high spatial resolution and fast global coverage, combining data different sources allows for data products that are suitable for many practical applications such as flood forecasting. In this case data from SMAP and Sentinel-1 were used.
