The Moon and Mars seen from Space Station
On 18 September 2017, ESA astronaut Paolo Nespoli shot this image from the International Space Station showing the Moon rising above the Earth’s horizon together with Mercury, Mars, the star Regulus, and Venus.
ESA astronaut Paolo Nespoli spent six months working and living on the International Space Station as part of his Vita mission, his third spaceflight.
