Juice will carry ten state-of-the-art instruments, capable of addressing all of the mission’s science goals, including the most powerful remote sensing, geophysical and in situ payloads ever flown to the outer Solar System. Nine of the instruments are led by European partners, and one by NASA. In addition, an experiment called PRIDE will use Juice’s telecommunication system with ground-based instruments to precisely determine the spacecraft’s position and velocity.
