The following teams of postgraduate students flew their experiments during the 'Fly Your Thesis! (FYT)' 2016 campaign:

  • Anemoi4: Two PhD and two Master students from the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany investigating the Wind Induced Dust Movement in Low-Gravity Location (WINDMILL).
  • CFVib: One PhD and two Master students from Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieréa Aeronáutica y del Espacio, UPM, Spain
  • PoliTethers: Three Ph.D. candidates and one M.Sc. student from the Politecnico di Milano, Department of Aerospace Science and Technologies (PoliMi-DAER), in Italy. They will investigate the dynamics and control of tethered-tugs, for space transportation and active debris removal.
  • TEPiM: Two PhD candidates and two master degree students from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) in Spain. Their experiment aims at understanding how Phase Change Materials behave when they are melted in weightlessness.
