Not all students find physics and chemistry fun, but if you ask them to calculate how noisy a rocket is or how many times an astronaut on the ISS sees the sun rise in an Earth day, their opinion might change.
The exercises
ESA’s Education Office has published a brochure containing 25 physics and chemistry exercises, based on real space data, for secondary school students aged from 15 to 18. The exercises have been developed in close cooperation with ESA scientists and engineers who have also checked the data and the accuracy of the exercises.
