Unpressurised carrier section of the Japanese H-II Transfer Vehicle

Unpressurised carrier section of the Japanese H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV). With up to two operational flights each year, HTV will deliver logistics items such as food, water, clothing and batteries to the International Space Station. The unpressurised section will carry experiment payloads for the Japanese Kibo laboratory's Exposed Facility. The first HTV is being prepared for flight to the ISS at Tsukuba Space Center.
