BepiColombo, 2014, exploring Mercury

BepiColombo, a joint ESA/JAXA mission, will study the composition, geophysics, atmosphere, magnetosphere and history of Mercury, the closest planet to the Sun. This is an especially challenging mission that will orbit a planet in the hottest regions of the Solar System.
