The PPS-1350 Hall Effect Thruster (HET) is manufactured by Snecma and was the first European electric propulsion thruster to be flown, serving on the first European mission to the Moon in 2001: SMART-1. The thruster was used to perform the transfer of the spacecraft from its injecting orbit to its final orbit. Its nominal thrust is 80 mN.
