At NASA's Kennedy Space Center, the second redesigned External Tank (ET-121) moves slowly on the road from the Turn Basin to the Vehicle Assembly Building in the background. The tank recently arrived at the Turn Basin aboard a barge after its long journey at sea from the Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans. In addition to the Return to Flight modifications, this tank has been outfitted with temperature sensors and accelerometers, used to measure vibration. These sensors will gather information about how the tank performs during flight.
