Agricultural landscape of Łęczyca, Poland. The map is used to identify linear landscape features such as small hedges and natural fences that protect biodiversity. These features serve as natural habitats or bio corridors. They provide provisioning (genetic, wood), regulating (climate, soil erosion protection, water purification) and cultural (landscape character) ecosystem services but are constantly under threat by urbanisation and modern agriculture practices.
