A calm beauty...

An image of aurora taken from on board the International Space Station and posted by ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti on social media, with the comment: "An aurora in the distance and the Space Station bathed in moonlight."

Samantha is currently living and working on the ISS as part of the Expedition 43 crew for her six-month Futura mission.
