James Hinds, Airbus, Airbus James is the Head of Space Strategy for Airbus Defence and Space. He was a Pioneer in SatCom, leading the ESA-Eutelsat-Airbus PPP Quantum. James has worked in the satellite industry for more than 30 years and has degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Business Administration. |

Guillaume Devauchelle, Valeo Guillaume is the Vice-President Group Innovation and Scientific Development at Valeo. He joined the VALEO Group in 2000 after the acquisition of Sylea, where he served as its Research and Development Vice-President. He made his entire career in the automotive and aeronautics industry. |

Vincent Saubestre, Total Vincent joined Total in 1990 and has held various managerial and executive positions in Exploration and Production in seven countries on five continents. Since 2016 he spearheads the implementation of an R&D Strategy for the Total Group. Vincent is a graduate engineer of Ecole Polytechnique (Paris). He holds an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California. |
Second session – Inspirational talks
Jean-Louis Étienne As a specialised doctor in biology and nutrition, Jean-Louis has taken part in numerous expeditions to the Himalayas, Greenland and Patagonia. In 1986 he became the first solo overland man to reach the North Pole, pulling his own sled for 63 days. In April 2010, he made the first crossing of the Arctic Ocean with a balloon rozière. |

Martina Caironi Martina Caironi is an Italian Paralympic athlete and was the flag-bearer of the Italian national athletics team at the latest Rio de Janeiro Olympic games. She won two gold medals in the 100 m sprint, 2012 in London and 2016 in Rio. Martina is the first ESA Grand Challenge Ambassador. |

Jean-François Clervoy Jean-François is an engineer and an experienced ESA astronaut. He flew in Space twice on board the Space Shuttle Atlantis and again on a Discovery mission. Additionally, Jean- François filed an international patent for a special atomic wrist watch ‘Speedmaster Skywalker X-33’, tested and qualified by ESA for explorers. |

Jan Woerner, ESA Jan served as Chairman of the Executive Board of DLR. He held the position of Dean of the Civil Engineering Faculty of the University of Darmstad. In his career at the Agency, he has conducted several significant reforms of the administrative systems including the ESA Procurement Reform. He graduated in Economics from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium. |

She has a degree of French Ecole Polytechnique and French Institute for Political Studies; Geraldine graduated in Chemical Engineering at Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées.
