Working groups
There were three working groups at the Global Space Economic Workshop:
- Fuel the future: Energy and extracting resources in extreme environments
- Beyond fragility: Solutions for aging or physically challenged citizens
- Shifting gear: Cyber security and artificial intelligence for connected vehicles.
Fuel the future: Energy and extracting resources in extreme environments
This working group tackled the energy demand, materials and production technologies for operations in extreme environments such as deserts, oceanic depths, arctic, moon and other celestial bodies. Energy is required for processing of resources in situ, and storage.
Beyond fragility: Solutions for aging or physically challenged citizens
This working group focused on visions of the future taking into account the global trend of an ageing population, as well as future technology that addresses the needs of physically or mentally challenged citizens.
Shifting gear: Cyber security and artificial intelligence for connected vehicles
In future, people and organisations will expect transport of themselves or goods to be fully integrated with intelligent and smart technologies.
This working group addressed the emerging cyber security threats associated with the rise in new mobility business models.
