Have any questions about the ESA Young Graduate Trainee Programme? Want to hear from current ESA YGTs? Join us online on 7 February at 20:00 CET via Twitch and/or 16 February at 12:00 CET via Webex.

If you are planning to apply for a 2023 Young Graduate Trainee opportunity, this is a great chance to get insider information on the programme. Current ESA YGTs will share their experiences of the programme and ESA’s Entry-Level Coordinators Florence Loustalot and Andrew Kane will tell you all you need to know about becoming an ESA YGT. Meet the speakers

Florence Loustalot (Twitch speaker)
Florence is a Talent Acquisition Specialist at ESA. One of her key responsibilities is coordination of ESA’s entry-level programmes, including the YGT Programme.
Andrew Kane (Twitch & Webex speaker)
Andrew is a former ESA YGT who is now the new coordinator for ESA’s entry-level programmes.
Salvi Verma (Twitch Speaker)
Salvi is a second-year Young Graduate Trainee in the Crew Operations Support Team at the European Astronaut Centre. She is developing a web-based data platform and is certified as an Operations Engineer for an ISS Payload.
Kim Johnson (Twitch speaker)
Kim graduated with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and is a YGT in Industrial Incentive Scheme Programme Management at ESTEC. His traineeship includes the support of expanding industry space capabilities of non-full Member States by means of tendering schemes.
Corentin Buti (Twitch host)
Corentin is a French space systems engineer focused on thermal analysis and testing of satellite instruments. He launched its broadcast "La Capsule" in 2020 to close the gap between the public and space engineers.
Julien Krompholtz (Webex speaker)
Julien is a French YGT who joined ESA in September 2021. He holds a double Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering. As part of his education, he contributed to the development of Ariane 6 ground facilities at the Guiana Space Centre. Julien was recruited by ESA as a YGT on the Mission Classification project. During his first year at ESA, he took a leading role in the YPSat project, an ambitious mission that will launch on the inaugural flight of Ariane 6.
Chiara Moenter (Webex speaker)
Chiara joined ESA as a Young Graduate Trainee in September 2022 working in strategic evolution policy in Paris, working on the Accelerators. Her background is in project and change management and sustainability science. Before joining ESA, Chiara spent two years working as a space journalist and event coordinator for digital magazine SpaceWatch.Global.
Vincent Wuest (Webex speaker)
Vincent has a Master’s in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. Before becoming a YGT, Vincent took a detour into the Biomedical industry and worked as a development engineer for Roche. Vincent joined ESA as a YGT in November 2022 in Earth Observation Data Services Analytics at ESRIN. Vincent says “I am very happy about my decision to apply here. Every day I am learning new things, be it on topics related to my section, topics related to Earth observation and ESA in general, or even life in Italy.”
Mariya Krasteva (Webex speaker)
Mariya started as a Young Graduate Trainee in Optical Engineering in November 2021. She is currently involved in optical testing, the next X-ray astronomy mission Athena, and the initiation and support of R&D activities in optics for future science missions.
