Sarah MOENS
Sarah Moens is a Teamleader and a lecturer at the Thomas More University of Applied Sciences. She previously was a lawyer at DLA Piper in Belgium.
She is a speaker and guest lecturer at national and international conferences and universities (Leiden University, Ghent University, KU Leuven University, Université Paris-Sud XI, … ) and during the ECSL summer course on Space Law and Policy. She is frequently quoted in the press as an expert. Furthermore, she is co-founder of beSPACE, an association for young space students and professionals in Belgium. She regularly serves as a judge for the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition and for the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
She obtained her law degree, magna cum laude, at Ghent University (Belgium). She focused on Space Law and Telecommunications Law (Droit des Activités Spatiales et des Télécommunications) at Université Paris-Sud XI.
She is an ECSL board member and a member of the IISL.
