Australia - ESA deep space ground station

ESA deep-space ground station, New Norcia, 140 km north of Perth, Australia - this is the first of a series of deep-space ground stations that ESA intends to build around the world over the coming years to make up a European Deep Space Network. The station was officially opened on 5 March 2003.
