China's Great Wall

The Great Wall of China is the country's national symbol and stretches for some 3,000 km across across it. Chinese territory is set to be studied from space, with the new joint ESA-China Dragon Programme setting up joint Sino-European research teams who plan to make use of ESA Earth Observation data to investigate subjects such as land motion, rice monitoring and air quality.
