ESA astronaut Thomas Reiter takes his turn driving an M-113, the armoured personnel carrier used to rescue the crew from the launch pad if an emergency situation arises. The STS-121 crew took part in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities at NASA's Kennedy Space Center ahead of their launch to the International Space Station currently scheduled for July.
