Balloon trajectory under IASI swath

Illustration the balloon trajectory (shown by the purple line) under the IASI swath (red circles) carried on the MetOp satellite. The balloon was launched near Terresina in northern Brazil and was in the air for about 8 hours reaching an altitude of 35 km.
