ubigrate's LoVoTrack to be tested by DHL

The ubigrate Load-Volume Tracking (LoVoTrack) system consists of ultrasonic sensors, mobile communication and satellite navigation to determine the load status of lorries and containers. Sensors in the ceiling of each container continuously measure the available empty volume. This information, together with the precise satellite navigation data of where the lorry is located, is transmitted via the common cellular phone network to a central server that follows the whole fleet in the transportation company. It is then easy to assign new packages to available volume.
