UNCCD photo contest winner

According to its rules and regulations, the UNCCD second international photo contest rewards "the best photos that conceptually and artistically depict either the efforts of people conserving soil, land and/or water in drylands, or the relationship between affected people and drylands ecosystems". The award ceremony took place in Buenos Aires during COP 9, where the best photos were also shown to the public.
