Equipment to the bunker

In parallel to the transport of the space head module to the silo, the team from ESA and Astrium moved the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and Network Data Interface Unit (NDIU) down to the bunker. The NDIU provides a network link to ESA's European Operations Centre (ESOC), allowing them to monitor the satellite from Germany. The heavy equipment had to be carried down a staircase 30 m long.
