The German start-up company TANKERING.com provides advanced
flight performance optimization methods to reduce aircraft fuel
consumption and cost. Their application will manage the many variables
involved: aircraft type, flight profile, weather, distance between
airports, fuel prices, currency fluctuations, etc. It will simplify a
very complex and work intensive calculation, and is currently offered
as a web-based standalone solution. The development is supported by
ESA Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC) Oberpfaffenhofen.
