ESA astronaut Paolo Nespoli with a miniature greenhouse on the International Space Station.

During his MagISStra mission, Paolo attempted to grow plants in a greenhouse. At the same time, European schoolchildren and the Mars500 crew ran the same educational experiment to compare results.
