NO2 over Europe monitored by GOME-2

Tropospheric nitrogen dioxide density over Europe in March 2011, as measured by the Global Ozone Monitoring Experiment-2 on the polar-orbiting MetOp satellite. In the future, Sentinel-4 will measure atmospheric pollution such as nitrogen dioxide from geostationary orbit.
