Sentinel launch contract

The Chairman and CEO of Arianespace, Jean-Yves Le Gall (left), and ESA’s Director General, Jean-Jacques Dordain, signed the contracts for the launch of two Sentinel satellites on 14 December 2011. With the agreements in place, Sentinel-2B and Sentinel-3B will be launched by Arianespace on a Vega rocket from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana.
