In November 1995, the Space Shuttle Atlantis carried a SoloEtte guitar into space and presented it as a gift to the European and Russian Cosmonauts on the Mir space station. The specially modified SoloEtte returned to Earth on a Shuttle in 1998, having spent 942 days in space.
