Soyuz transfer to launch pad

Soyuz, Europe’s medium launcher, being transferred from the integration building to the launch pad at Europe's Spaceport.

Since 2011, the Russian-built medium Soyuz is launched from new facilities at Europe’s Spaceport. These have been developed by ESA together with Roscomos, the Russian space agency, and Arianespace, the commercial operator.
