Awarding FarmIQ

Computer science students from the UK’s University of Bristol (from right) Julian Laval, Anda Truta, Alex Dantis and Alex Dumitrescu took home the ESA prize with the app FarmIQ at the 2015 ESA App Camp in Barcelona. They were awarded the prize by Bill McDermott, SAP CEO, Josef Aschbacher, Head of the Programme Planning and Coordination Service for ESA’s Earth Observation Programmes Directorate, Frank Salzgeber, Head of ESA’s Technology Transfer Programme and Thorsten Rudolph, Anwendungszentrum CEO.
