A royal visit to ESA’s technical heart on 12 May was the occasion for the Agency to receive an award for ‘Economic Diplomacy’ from the Cercle International Diplomatique et Consulaire, CIDIC.
The award was given by Her Royal Highness Princess Lea of Belgium (third from right), together with the President of CIDIC Baron Ernest de Laminne de Bex (fourth from right), during their trip to ESTEC in Noordwijk, the Netherlands.
It was received on behalf of ESTEC Director Franco Ongaro by Ninja Menning of ESTEC’s Outreach Unit (fourth from left).
CIDIC is a Brussels-based organisation to support diplomats to network in the academic and business spheres.
