Moonscape photographed by Gregor Sailer

Photographer Gregor Sailer took this test moonscape as part of his Mars Series, which has been awarded at the European Architectural Photography Prize 2017.

This lunar landscape backdrop with simulated rocks is used for rover testing, located in the Erasmus centre of ESA’s technical heart in the Netherlands.
