CubeSat deployment from ISS

First of many CubeSats deployed from the International Space Station by the NanoRacks company in February 2014. The Nanoracks deployment system containing one or more CubeSats inside it is placed through JAXA's Kibo module's airlock. From here the module’s robotic arm – the Japanese Experimental Module Remote Manipulator System – positions the deployer for safe orientation away from the station for deployment.
