Hoisting Vega's ridesharing payloads

Europe's Spaceport prepares for its first rideshare mission dedicated to multiple light satellites.

All 53 light satellites are secured on the new Small Spacecraft Mission Service (SSMS) dispenser inside the fairing which is shown being hoisted to the top of the mobile gantry at Europe's Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana on 26 August 2020 ahead of flight VV16.
