First European Kerosene Pump

An activity with GSTP and LENA Space, UK, has developed an demonstrated a kerosene pump.

The majority of large engine activity in Europe is hydrogen based and requires more costly pump technology, with deep cryogenic temperatures and complex sealing requirements. This activity developed the first low-cost Kerosene pump in Europe. The activity designed, manufactured and tested the pump’s capability. Current small engine activities are pivoting towards LOX/LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) the current pump technology can be repurposed for a LOX/LNG system.
