Astronaut Alexander Gerst at Living Planet Symposium

ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst was among the speakers at the Living Planet Symposium’s opening plenary.
He talked about how it feels to see Earth from space with human eyes and the value of Earth observing satellites in giving us the data and information we need to understand our planet. A geophysicist as well as an astronaut, Alex has a deep interest in the workings of our planet.
