Revealing details of the Cartwheel Galaxy

Comparing the Cartwheel Galaxy in near- and mid-infrared wavelengths through the eyes of Webb's NIRCam and MIRI instruments. The left hand image shows the combined NIRCam and MIRI view, the right hand image shows only the MIRI view. Combining the data of the two instruments reveals details that are difficult to see in the individual images alone.
