The Flexible Combined Imager on MTG-I

The Flexible Combined Imager (FCI) on the Meteosat Third Generation Imager (MTG-I) satellite will continue the successful operation of the Spinning Enhanced Visible and Infrared Imager (SEVIRI) on Meteosat Second Generation (MSG). The FCI will offer significant enhancement to enable earlier prediction of severe weather events and improvements to forecasts.
