ESA Days, organised in cooperation with the Member States, are an opportunity to communicate together on space achievements, future milestones and ambitions.
The ESA Day in Slovakia was organised by the Forum of Engineers and Technicians of Slovakia (FITS), in cooperation with ESA, the Association of Slovak Scientific and Technical Societies (ZSVTS), the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic (MINEDU), the Slovak Space Office and the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO).
The conference celebrated the Associate Membership of the Slovak Republic in ESA, which officially started on 13 October 2022, following on from the period of that Slovakia was a cooperating state within ESA’s Plan for European Cooperating States programme from 2016.
