There are a huge number of career and learning opportunities in the space industry and these were highlighted as part of the schools’ day at New Scientist Live.
The schools’ day included a session with Romain Charles, coordinator of Spaceship ECSAT, and Tomas Navarro, future projects engineer at ESA’s Directorate of Connectivity and Secure Communications.
Romain’s work at ESA focuses on working with students to solve key challenges of space exploration, with Tomas investigating future telecommunications technologies to keep people connected.
Both are based at ESA’s European Centre for Space Applications and Telecommunications in the UK.
