CIMON and Marcus Wandt

ESA project astronaut Marcus Wandt with CIMON, an intelligent, robotic assistant for astronauts on the International Space Station. CIMON guides the astronaut through a 3D kinetic gases model experiment and records it with its left, right and front cameras.

CIMON has been developed by the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
