This 27 March at 21h46 GMT a Soyuz launcher is scheduled to send on orbit Galileo Sat 7 and 8,  from Kourou in French Guiana. This is the continuation of the building of the Galileo constellation.

But last summer, Galileo Sat 5 and 6 were considered lost: the satellites ended in the wrong orbit after their launch by another Soyuz from Europe's Spaceport.

Now the 2 satellites have been recovered and they might be able to fulfil at least partially their mission, this should be confirmed soon.

A situation made possible thanks to expertise and hard work in the extended Galileo team, from ESA to agencies partners and industry.

This video shows images of the Galileo Control Centre in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany where the Galileo satellites are taken care of.

It includes interviews with:

- Roberto Maddè, Head of Operations Procurement Service, ESA in English and Italian.

- Marco Falcone, Galileo System Manager, ESA in English, Italian and French.

-  Richard Lumb, Galileo Mission Director, ESA in English.

- Alessandro Codazzi, Galileo Spacecraft Operations Manager, DLR GfR in English, Italian and German.

- Paulo Coutinho, Galileo Ground Operations Manager, DLR GfR in English.
