On 24 April 2005, the launch of the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) reached its 15th birthday. No other telescope in space has had a such an impact on astronomy, this is one three special videos on the achievements of HST, made to commemorate its 15 years of service. These special programmes include spectacular 3D graphics of HST results and the phenomena it has been observing. This video focuses on observations of planets and other bodies in the solar system, and also on exoplanets and the search for life elsewhere in the Universe. The video lasts 6.17 minutes, with English audio. Note that since the time of recording the status of Pluto has been under discussion it is no longer considered to be the 9th planet.
