ExoMars 2016 Schiaparelli approaching Mars

Animation visualising the ExoMars entry, descent and landing demonstrator module, Schiaparelli, approaching Mars after separating from the Trace Gas Orbiter (TGO). The separation is scheduled to occur on 16 October 2016, about seven months after launch. Schiaparelli is set to enter the martian atmosphere on 19 October, while TGO will enter orbit around Mars.
