Replay of the ‘From Science to Operations for Copernicus Imaging Microwave Radiometer (CIMR)’ on 10-12 May 2021. The CIMR mission is one of six satellite missions being developed to expand the current capabilities of Europe’s Copernicus programme – a system for monitoring Earth’s environment to support European policy and to benefit European citizens and beyond. CIMR is being developed in response to the EU Integrated Policy for the Arctic, a region where profound changes are occurring that have global repercussions on our weather and climate. This meeting is the first opportunity for the CIMR user community to provide inputs to bridge the gap between the scientific measurements that will be made by the mission and preparation for their application in the Copernicus operational services and scientific applications.
