ESA is looking for new candidate teams for the Fly Your Satellite! Design Booster programme. In the second edition of the programme, satellite student teams from universities and other tertiary education institutions will be supported throughout the design phase and get a "boost" to consolidate their mission. By participating in the programme, students will implement standard practices for spacecraft development, follow tailored training, receive support from experienced ESA specialists, and will be offered access to state-of-the-art spacecraft test facilities.

This opportunity is open to student teams from eligible states developing PocketQubes and CubeSat missions within their university or other tertiary education institution. Missions shall be educational in nature, and any additional technological, scientific, and downstream objectives are considered as assets.

Aligning with their project goals, teams are strongly encouraged to include students from a variety of disciplines, such as technicians (e.g., professional bachelor's and vocational training), as well as individuals from non-STEM fields like business, law, agriculture, architecture, etc. Additionally, teams may consider partnering with other institutions, such as technical colleges, to diversify their members. Student-led teams may also include early-career professionals from both industry and academia as part of their projects.
