These 6 activities can be done individually or as a set.

Material: 

Activity 1 and 6:
• Printed worksheet (optional)
• Pen or pencil
• Colouring pencils or colouring pens

Activity 2:
• Printed worksheet (optional)
• Cress seeds (or other fast growing herb seeds)
• 2 identical pots/plastic containers
• Potting soil
• Small shovel or spoon
• Cardboard box or a dark closet
• Ruler

Activity 3: This activity can be done with all growth mediums proposed or just a selection.
• Printed worksheet (optional)
• 2 white flowers cut at the stem
• Food dye (red or blue)
• Transparent water containers (for example a cup or the bottom of a plastic bottle)

Activity 4:
• Printed worksheet (optional)
• 16 radish seeds (or other fast growing herb seeds)
• 8 small clear pots
• Soil to fill 2 of the small pots
• Sand to fill 2 of the small pots
• Cotton wool to fill 2 of the small pots
• Paper towel to fill 2 of the small pots
• Cling film
• 16 Labels for the pots or a permanent marker to label the pots
• Liquid plant food

Activity 5:
• Student worksheet printed
• Scissors
• Glue
• Pen / pencil
