ATV operations backgrounder
ESA's Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) is scheduled for launch on 8 March 2008. ESA mission controllers are working with a CNES (French space agency) flight control team to prepare for the complex launch, early in-flight operations and ISS docking activities.
