SBSP will rely on robotics systems with the capability for on-orbit assembly, logistics and maintenance. Due to the large scale of SBSP installations, thousands of robotics interface elements will be needed. Hence the design of the robotics interfaces will need to be highly optimised to reduce resources (mass, volume) and hence impose a minimal overhead on the SBSP system.

We look forward to seeing the creativity and passion our industry partners will bring to this topic through their proposal submissions to this exciting tender!
