High resolution spectral transmittance and reflectance

The spectral (wavelength dependent) performance of many optical components is an essential parameter to verify by measurement. This is especially true for novel materials, coatings and dispersive elements. The optics lab at ESTEC has the capability to do these types of measurements tailored to users needs by means of a flexible configuration based on a 1 metre focal length monochromator, or by means of a commercial double beam spectrophotometer for more routine samples.
