Worksheet Introduction

Air Pollution of the Kathmandu Valley

Before starting you might wish to think and discuss the problems of air pollution with your classmates. How good is the air in your classroom, around your school, on your way to school, and in your town in general? How can we measure air quality? Can it be done qualitatively by observing, smelling, touching and feeling? Find arguments on how you can use your senses: eyes, nose, ears, etc. for assessing air quality.

One of the following exercises requires the use of the LEOWorks software.

Three separate exercises are presented here. The first two do not require the use of LEOWorks.
